Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Ruaha

Set out on an enjoyable journey as our friendly team picks you up from your preferred location in Dar Es Salaam. From there, the adventure unfolds as you commence your scenic voyage to Ruaha National Park via the charming town of Iringa. Anticipate a day filled with captivating vistas and enriching experiences, spanning approximately 8 hours of delightful driving. Along the way, revel in two well-deserved stops for refreshments and a leisurely lunch, ensuring you’re energized for the remainder of your journey to Ruaha.
This day is thoughtfully dedicated to travel, ensuring your arrival at Ruaha National Park is met with comfort and ease. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, you’ll find yourself welcomed at the esteemed Ruaha Hilltop Lodge. Here, a delectable dinner awaits, promising to tantalize your taste buds, followed by a restful overnight stay in the embrace of this remarkable natural haven.

Day 2: Full Day Ruaha National Park

On this day, you will leave early at 6:00 a.m. to go for morning game drives with parked breakfast and lunch boxes. Will continue with the game drive, searching for wild animals around different locations of the park until lunch break. After lunch and a little rest within the park, you will continue with the game drive until around 18:30 p.m., when you will go back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. Other animals and attractions you should expect to see include, but are not limited to, Buffalos, giraffes, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos, different birds, plants, and reptile species.

Day 3: Full Day Ruaha National Park

Following a hearty breakfast, prepare for a day brimming with adventure on extensive game drives within the sprawling expanse of Ruaha National Park. This sanctuary, nearly rivaling the vastness of the Serengeti, retains its pristine natural allure and stands as one of the most exhilarating game reserves in the region. For avid birdwatchers, it presents a veritable paradise, boasting an impressive array of 350 distinct bird species.
The heartbeat of the park lies along the meandering course of the Great Ruaha River, where wildlife congregates in a mesmerizing display of nature’s grandeur. Here, you may encounter the stately Waterbuck, the graceful Impala, and the agile Grant Gazelle. Along the riverbanks, the stage is set for the perpetual theater of predator and prey. Along the way, enjoy a delightful interlude with a leisurely lunch at the charming Msolwa cafe, adding a touch of culinary delight to your adventure. As we approach Dar es Salaam, the city of enchantment, savor the final moments of this memorable voyage before bidding adieu in a fond farewell that marks the end of a truly heartwarming experience.
