Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
In the morning will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha to start your safari to the Tarangire National Park. The park is roughly the size of Luxemburg and covers an area of about 2,600 km². Bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. Buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, and more than 500 types of birds.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and heading to Lake Manyara National Park. The small park stretches along the 600 m high Rift Valley Escarpment and is dominated by the alkaline Lake Manyara. Many water birds gather at the lake and more than 400 bird species are found in the park. If you are very lucky you might also see the Manyara lions, lounging in the trees. In the late afternoon, you will leave the Park and head to Arusha overnight or transfer to the airport to connect with your flight to the next destination or back home.
