Three days gives you the full Mikumi experience sunrise game drives when predators are still active, a picnic lunch in the savannah, sunset views over the park, and enough time to actually feel it rather than rush through it.
Travel from Dar es Salaam by SGR train, transfer to Mikumi in a private 4×4, and spend two nights at a lodge near the park. Professional guide included throughout.

Depart Dar es Salaam by SGR train to Morogoro, where your driver-guide meets you for the transfer to Mikumi. Arrive in time for your first afternoon game drive buffalo, giraffes, elephants, zebras, and lions are all regulars. Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Half Board An early sunrise game drive kicks off your best day in the park. Back for breakfast, then out again for a picnic lunch game drive, your guide picks the spot, the wildlife picks the company. The afternoon ends with a sunset game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and your second night.
Full Board One final morning game drive before exiting the park. Transfer to Morogoro SGR Station and board the train back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the afternoon.
