1. Arrival & Stone Town Discovery

Your Adventure Begins

Touch down at Zanzibar Airport, where your guide awaits with a warm “Karibu!” (Welcome!). A short drive brings you to The Seyyida Hotel, a boutique gem in the heart of Stone Town.

 

Afternoon Exploration

  • Historic Walking Tour: Peel back layers of history at the Old Slave Market, where your guide shares poignant stories of Zanzibar’s past.
  • Architectural Wonders: Admire the House of Wonders (Beit-al-Ajaib) and the intricately carved Zanzibar Doors symbols of wealth and power.
  • Sunset at Forodhani Gardens: Watch the waterfront come alive with food stalls serving urojo (Zanzibari soup) and grilled octopus.

 

Evening

2. Jozani Forest & Spice Secrets

After breakfast, drive southeast to Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, Zanzibar’s only national park.

  • Red Colobus Monkeys: Stroll boardwalks with a ranger to spot these playful, endangered primates (they love to pose for photos!).
  • Mangrove Boardwalk: Learn how these trees protect Zanzibar’s coastline while spotting crabs and tropical birds.
