This safari combines the wildlife of Mikumi National Park with the natural beauty of Udzungwa Mountains National Park. It offers a great mix of classic game viewing and amazing hiking. Often called “Africa’s Galapagos,” the Udzungwa Mountains have unique species that are not found anywhere else. In Mikumi, you can see elephants, lions, and rare antelope on the floodplains. This itinerary is for adventurous travelers who want to explore Tanzania’s less-visited southern circuit. It provides easy connections from Zanzibar with included flights and ferry transfers.
