Enjoy a fast and comfortable train ride from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro, then continue to Mikumi National Park for guided game drives in one of Tanzania’s most accessible safari destinations.

Begin with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam on the SGR train to Morogoro, enjoying a scenic ride. Upon arrival at Morogoro SGR Station, meet your safari driver guide and transfer to Mikumi National Park in a 4×4 vehicle.
Start your guided game drive in Mikumi, known for its large elephant herds, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay near the park.
Half Board Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge or a packed breakfast before heading back into Mikumi National Park for a morning game drive. The early hours are best for spotting predators and active wildlife, allowing for great viewing and photography across the savannah.
After a late morning exit from the park, transfer to Morogoro SGR Station and board the SGR train back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the afternoon to conclude your 2-day Mikumi Safari experience.
