Safari tour starting and ending in Dar es Salaam, using quality mid range safari lodges or tented camps which are typically located inside or close to Nyerere National Park. The tour includes road transport from Dar es Salaam with private game drives in the park. The trip may also include extra options such as a boat safaris, village tours and walking safaris

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, the airport, or the ferry station, depending on your arrival time. If you are arriving by hotel transfer, the driver will collect you at 7:20 AM for a 5-6 hour drive to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and enjoy a delicious hot lunch.
Later, you can look forward to a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you will have the opportunity to see hippos and crocodiles as you take in the sunset, as well as elephants drinking in the evening.
Half Board Meet our professional safari guide at 7:00 AM at your hotel for a full-day safari experience. Discover wildlife such as elephants, lions, wildebeest, giraffes, and over 300 species of birds in Nyerere National Park. Enjoy a beautiful sunset before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Half Board Wake up early at 6:30 AM for a walking safari with bushmen and an armed ranger. Experience a beautiful morning sunrise and enjoy birdwatching while learning more about wildlife and animals as you stroll through the bush.
You will return to your accommodation around 8:30 AM for breakfast and to prepare for the drive back to Dar es Salaam for drop-off.
